Toddler climbs out of 5th floor Tenerife apartment window in shocking video

Some shocking footage has appeared online showing the moment a toddler climbs out of an apartment window and walks along a narrow ledge.

The terrifying moment was captured on film and subsequently went viral, with the incident happening in Tenerife – a destination popular with tourists from across the UK.

A young child is seen emerging from a fifth-floor window, before walking along the side of the building to the balcony and back again.

The video was shared by the I Love Tenerife Facebook page, where it quickly racked up thousands of reacts, shares and comments,

According to the caption: “This toddler managed to climb out of this building window whilst the parents were taking a shower. This apparently happened over the weekend at a property in Playa Paraiso, Tenerife!”

It’s unclear who originally shot the footage.

People were quick to call out the parents, with one writing: “This is so bad to watch. Could the dad watch the child while mum had a shower first. This could have such a bad outcome. I hope she is the only child funny how health and safety goes out the window on holidays for some.”

Another added: “Not really a good time for parents to be messing in the shower on hols in different apartment etc .. I don’t know if its stupidity or selfishness.”
