Someone’s listed their back garden as a ‘luxury campsite’ for Parklife

Absolute genius…

Parklife festival is back once again at Heaton Park this year, and a local resident has worked out a genius idea to make a bit of money while it’s on.

In previous years residents have complained about the noise, litter and parking during the festival, as thousands of people descend on the area – so it’s only fair they make a little something in return.

As such, one enterprising Prestwich local has listed their back garden as a ‘luxury campsite’ ahead of the festival this summer.

They took to Airbnb to list their garden, which is located in the grounds of an 18th century Vicarage, and guests even get a hot breakfast and free bottles of water – perfect for that post-festival hangover.

It’s conveniently located directly next to the event, and even shares a wall with Heaton Park, and it’ll set you back £289 for the night.

For the price you get space for your own four-person tent – this isn’t provided – charging points, secure parking, a hot breakfast with tea, coffee and juice, and a welcome pack.

There’s even some posh portable toilets that the owner will clean three times a day, so you don’t have to brave those rank portaloos at the festival.

Parklife is happening over the weekend of June 13th and 14th this year, with some of the headliners including Lewis Capaldi, Skepta and Tyler the Creator.
