Man horrified after huge seagull snatches food directly from his mouth as he’s eating

The moment a seagull swooped and snatched a man’s food as he was taking a bite has gone viral this week.

Now, nothing ruins a trip to the seaside quite as much as a greedy and gutsy seagull being after your chips – even the most animal-loving of conservationists have to grit their teeth at the sight of the pesky birds.

But now, one man could have possibly experienced perhaps the greediest and the gutsiest seagull ever to live.

The young man, known only as Matthew, was filmed by his friend Sophie Ellen McGill as he took a bite out of a delicious looking KFC wrap. 

Well, it seemed the wrap looked so delicious that a lurking seagull just couldn’t resist taking a bite for itself. 

As Matthew took a bite, the seagull swooped out of nowhere and grabbed its own mouthful before flying away again, leaving Matthew staggering and understandably shellshocked. 

Sophie’s video was quick to go viral and, at the time of writing, currently has more than 2.5 million views. Thousands more left comments, expressing both their amusement and their disbelief over the clip. 

“Omg it actually got in his mouth,” one commented, while another added: “I would simply pass away if that happened to me.”

Sophie is yet to provide an update on Matthew’s wellbeing following the traumatic incident. Take this as a warning folks: Never eat your food when a seagull is lurking.
