Images have surfaced of a KFC car park covered in litter from the takeaway chain, sparking outrage on social media.
A KFC in Bury has reopened following the new guidelines, but it’s caused disgust online when the retail park it is located in was left covered in empty KFC boxes.
This comes just days after KFC reopened its chains across the country. The photos were taken by a key worker who expressed his disappointment and ‘disgust’ at the public for leaving the car park in such a state.
Hundreds of people have responded to his tweet expressing their concerns and similar disgust.
One used wrote ‘should forcibly close them down again’, while another said ‘there is no excuse for dropping litter anywhere, but this is disgusting behaviour’.
The fast-food giant reopened their stores on March 23rd, with many people rejoicing in the fact they could now get their hands on some fried chicken.
It appears it is not the only KFC with a litter problem, with one Twitter user explaining that the ‘one near us in Rochdale was the same’.
