Have you ever dreamt of having a near-constant Greggs supply at home?

Well, Iceland are here to make some of that dream a reality with the launch of their revolutionary ‘bake your own’ Greggs cookies.

While the bakery is renown for its sausage roll and pastry offerings, it is also well loved for its sweet treats too, including its famed chocolate chip cookies.

And while stocking up on these delicious biscuits typically requires a trip to your local Greggs bakery, Iceland will soon be giving its customers the chance to have their very own supply of cookies right in the comfort of their own homes.

The supermarket will be unveiling boxes of ‘bake from home’ Greggs cookies in two different flavours: triple chocolate and milk chocolate, both of which will feature a crumbly cookie base with chunky chocolate pieces.

And they will be remarkably easy to cook, with them only needing to be baked in the oven straight from the freezer.

While the cookies aren’t available to buy just yet, they were shared in the popular Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, where they proved to be a huge hit.

One social media user wrote: “No way. I love their cookies, straight from the oven even better!”

Another – visibly very excited – Greggs fan commented: “OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! This is the best news’s EVER!”

The bake at home cookies will be joining Iceland’s already expansive line up of frozen Greggs products, which includes steak bakes, sausage rolls and pies.

A launch date for the cookies is yet to be announced, so make sure to keep an eye out for them to pop up on the shelves at your local Iceland. Alternatively, you can check out the supermarket’s frozen Greggs range here.
