Following the opening of Wales’ first ever Greggs drive-thru this week, some of you may be curious as to how many locations there actually are across the UK.

Well, let me tell you, there are a lot.

Thanks to the overwhelming popularity of the debut Greggs drive-thru in Manchester back in 2017, the bakery chain has been investing more and more into its drive-thru restaurants throughout the last few years, so that everyone across the country can get their pasty fix on-the-go. 

Roger Whiteside, Chief Executive for Greggs, said of the opening at the time: “When it comes to food on-the-go, our customers tell us that convenience is key. 

“We’ve been working hard to take Greggs to where our customers need and want us to be including office parks, industrial estates, retail parks and travel hubs.

“A drive-thru offers the ultimate convenience and seemed the logical next step for us to take.”
