There’s a new interactive map that will show you how close you live to infamous and historic serial killers.
While Brits up and down the country love a good serial killer documentary, many would rather not know whether they’re living close by to some of the UK’s most gruesome crime scenes.
But for those who do want to know, there is now an interactive map that will pinpoint just how close you live to an infamous serial killer.

The map comes courtesy of the somewhat unexpected source Online Mortgage Advisor, who wanted to offer a little peace of mind and soothe curiosities to those wanting to buy a house without a dark and sinister history.
The map also allows users to click through to Google Street View, allowing them to virtually walk the same steps that dangerous killers did once upon a time.
Pete Mugleston, Managing Director at Online Mortgage Advisor, said: “We have created an interactive map of the UK showing some of Britain’s most famous serial killer’s homes; from Jack the Ripper and Peter Sutcliffe, through to Fred and Rose West, and Ian Brady and Myra Hindley.
“Not only does our interactive map ‘Serial Killer Homes’ highlight where in the UK the worst of the worst once lived, it also looks at the average house price in the area right now (some are expensive areas; not what you’d expect for a serial killer).”

Peter went on to offer the somewhat worrying statistic that you are likely to live within just 113 miles from the UK’s next serial killer.
He explained: “We figured this out by looking at the average distance between the UK’s worst serial killers and, well, there you have it. 113 miles.”
