A TikToker has shared tips on keeping your home as warm as possible using just tinfoil.
As we continue to work from home it’s vital we’re getting the most out of the heating being on almost 24/7, which is where Kyle James comes in.
Kyle runs the company ‘That Property Guy’ and has recently revealed how using tinfoil can boost the efficiency of radiators and make your room feel warmer!
Posting the video on TikTok, Kyle said: “Give your radiators a boost this winter. Radiator reflector foil is one way to keep your house warm.
“It reflects radiator heat back into the room. It’s really simple to install, a good idea to do it on radiators on external walls. [You can] pick up foil from DIY stores or kitchen foil is a quick hack.”
Kyle takes foil and simply cuts into size before adding tape and slotting them behind the radiators.
The video has already racked up over 1.5 million views and 10,000 shares and everyone is buzzing.

Kyle also added other tips like bleeding your radiator to keep them running properly, opening the oven door after you’ve finished cooking, shutting blinds, curtains and doors, and leaving a gap between the radiator and sofa.
