Bride’s incredible Colin the Caterpillar wedding cake goes viral

Colin the Caterpillar is a Great British institution, and he’s a welcome sight at any party or gathering.

Now it turns out you can even invite Colin to your wedding, and one bride’s themed caterpillar wedding cake has gone viral.

The Colin and Connie Caterpillar cakes are seriously impressive, and even feature a whole load of mini caterpillar babies if the cakes alone aren’t enough.

The photo was shared on the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo Bridal Boutique Facebook page (weird name), with the lucky couple boasting two large cakes displayed on forest podiums.

Of course Colin and Connie are dressed for the occasion, with top hat and white veil proudly on display.

If you want Colin at your wedding you can grab one from M&S, where he’ll set you back £50 – he feeds a whopping 40 people, though.

The M&S description reads: “Everyone’s favourite chocolate sponge roll caterpillar cake gets a matrimonial makeover. Colin is covered in milk chocolate and decorated with milk chocolate beans and a white chocolate face.

“Colin is filled with chocolate buttercream and also decorated with a bow tie, top hat and edible confetti.”
