A man received a furious note accusing him of stealing a lost KFC order from a disgruntled neighbour this week.

Ian Dickman was perplexed when the passive aggressive note was posted through his letterbox at his home in Blackpool on Wednesday evening.

The clearly hangry writer called Ian a ‘greedy little gremlin’ for ‘taking’ their fast food – which they had apparently ordered to Ian’s address by mistake.

The letter read: “I know you have just tucked into a succulent KFC which to belong to me. I ordered it to your address accidently [sic].

“I thought I had faith in humanity, but BOY WAS I WRONG!

“You took my KFC into your GOB with no remorse! Any decent person would of not of [sic] accepted it. But you are just a greedy little gremlin.

“Thank you for being a tight a**e. P.S. You owe me £36.”

But, adamant on his innocence, Ian posted a picture of the note to social media alongside a lengthy explanation of what actually happened in the mysterious KFC heist.

He wrote: “To the person that has put this through my letter box, you should have had the decency to knock and find out the truth.

“We are not the idiot who ordered his/her takeaway and could not remember their own address.”

Ian then explained that the KFC order had indeed been delivered to his door, but he had told the delivery driver that it wasn’t for him, who promptly took it away.

“Yes they knocked but were clearly told it was not ours and the two took it away in a silver car.

“There is CCTV across the street if you would like to add to your embarrassment we would be happy to get it. So we owe you nothing.”

Many amused social media users were quick to mock the note-writer for not knowing their own address, with others simply asking: “Who spends £36 on KFC?”

The fate of the missing KFC order currently remains unknown.
