A TikToker and her bestie booked £20 flights to spend the day in Milan — as people say it’s cheaper than going to London.

In the midst of a cost of living crisis, people are being more careful with their money and a trip to a European city seems well off the cards.

But, everyone’s got to live a little, and one woman did just that for the day along with her best mate.

TikToker Daisy Robinson decided to spend the day in Milan with her best friend Jodie Smith where the friends shopped, ate pizza and drank Aperol Spritz as well as had a walk around the stunning city for some sight seeing.

Daisy proved that a trip abroad need not cost a fortune as she shared video clips of her short and sweet trip to the city of fashion and urged others to ‘jump on that £20 flight asap girlies’.

Daisy captioned the video of her mini-holiday with: “This is your sign to go to Milan for the day.”

The two friends flew on their budget flight with Ryanair into Milan Malpensa Airport and revealed their train journey into the city centre wasn’t long at all.

Daisy said: “Flew into Malpensa Airport, 40 minute train journey into the centre.” She shared footage of herself with her friend as they visited landmarks in the glorious Italian sunshine.

They both enjoyed authentic Italian pizza and an Aperol Spritz by the Duomo di Milano — a Roman Catholic cathedral at the heart of the city centre.

The friends also indulged in some shopping in the European owned brand store Bershka and took some snaps together by the famous Piazza Castella Fountain.

The spontaneous pair were on a return flight and back home by the same evening. Daisy’s video has racked up over 210,000 views and 17.5, 000 likes at time of writing.

One follower said: “£20 flight says no more.”

And another added: “Ehh, not even thinking twice about that: yes.”
