BrewDog is set to open a beer-themed hotel in Manchester city centre later this year, and now we’ve had a first glimpse of what it will look like.

The Scottish-based brewery, which already operates two bars in our city, is transforming a currently unused three-storey building on Fountain Street into the second ‘DogHouse’ hotel in the world.

BrewDog has officially shared images of what the hotel will look like when it does open, and it’s going to be a must-visit for any beer lovers.

The DogHouse hotel will feature 18 bedrooms, with every room fully equipped with a shower beer fridge, as well as Punk IPA on tap so you’ll never get thirsty.

There will also be a new rooftop bar, complete with a fire pit and taco bar. On the terrace, you’ll have 10 taps of craft beer to choose from, with a casual taco menu keeping with BrewDog’s signature relaxed style.

Hotel guests will receive a complimentary beer on arrival, access to a fully stocked beer fridge (which you’ll need to pre-pay for), games consoles, record players, guitars, and even free Brompton bike hire.

The hotel, which will feature a ground floor bar and restaurant, will also be completely dog-friendly, so you can bring your pooch with you when you stay at the DogHouse.

James Brown, managing director of bars at BrewDog, said: “After DogHouse Columbus was named one of TIME’s top 100 places to visit, we knew we were on to a winning combination.

“We’re excited to be bringing beer fans a second location where they can enjoy all things craft beer from the moment they wake up, to the moment they rest their head.

“It was a no-brainer to open our second DogHouse in Manchester, a vibrant city, known for doing things differently which is very much the spirit of BrewDog.”

He continued: “We’re also proud to have not compromised on our Carbon Negative promise throughout the build too.

“This epic site has been built using sustainable materials and guests can check out our giant living wall as well our roof-top urban jungle, which we think is truly awesome!”

The new DogHouse hotel – which is set to open in August this year – follows the launch of BrewDog’s first UK hotel, Kennels, a dog-friendly venue located in Aberdeen.
