Paul Pogba has tested positive for coronavirus, according to reports this afternoon.

The Manchester United star was named in France’s squad for the upcoming international games, but has now been withdrawn.

The 27-year-old will be replaced in the squad by Eduardo Camavinga after the positive test, for their upcoming Nations League matches in September.

Pogba’s compatriot and teammate, the Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, has also tested positive and is withdrawn from the France team.

This means Pogba will have to spend 14 days in self-isolation, and he’ll miss the start of United’s pre-season prep next Wednesday.
