If you need a little something to cheer you up, then Tesco might have just the thing.
The supermarket is slashing the prices of its leftover Easter eggs by up to 75%, with some smaller eggs spotted for just 18p.
Larger eggs have also been seen going for bargain prices, reduced from £4 to £1.
People have taken to social media to spread the good news, with one person writing: “Morale in the office sponsored today by @Tesco and their 18p reduced Easter eggs!”
Unfortunately the discounts aren’t listed online, so you’ll have to venture in-store – which will have to form part of an essential shop.
Also, the amount the eggs are reduced by might vary from branch to branch, and the amount of stock left over will also vary.
