Although right now it might seem like winter is never going to end, summer will be with us before we know it.

The days are getting longer, and although it’s absolutely freezing out there today, soon the sun will start cutting through the clouds and the temperature will rise.

And when this happens it means one thing, beer gardens, and Strongbow might just have created the ultimate summer tipple to accompany the sun.

Strongbow

Strongbow has launched a rosé cider made from red apples, with the same 4% alcohol by volume as their other ciders.

You can grab it from Asda and Morrisons from today, with a RRP of £1.50 for 500ml – meaning a four-pack of 440ml cans can go for £5.25 and a pack of 10 for £12.

However, shops can set their own price, and the bargain masters over at Asda are currently selling the cans for £1, £4.50 and £9 – cheers lads.

Following this initial roll out, the rosé cider will be available from Sainsbury’s on March 8th and Tesco on April 20th.

Rachel Holms, brand director for Strongbow, said: “We’re really excited about the latest edition to our range of refreshing ciders.

“Not only is Strongbow Rosé the most successful recipe we’ve ever tested, we’ve also got exciting launch plans this summer to make sure as many people as possible get to try it.”
