Could this be the most Manc invention ever?

Primark has answered our prayers with their new raincoats designed specially to keep our pooches dry during those all too frequent rainy walks.

You should all be aware that the weather hasn’t been too great recently, despite the fact Summer is on the horizon.

We’ve had rain, we’ve had gale-force winds, we’ve had hail storms – heck, we’ve even had a little bit of snow.

Yes, snow in Spring. It doesn’t get more British than that, does it?

Anyway, most of us Mancs were born ready for this kind of fluctuating forecast so we have simply taken being battered by the wind and rain in our stride because, you know, it’s what we do best.

But what about our pet dogs?

The grim weather has definitely made walkies a little less exciting and a little more soggy, so Primark has come up with the most adorable solution.

Dog raincoats.

Described simply as a ‘Pet Outfit’, a photo of the adorable raincoats were posted into the Facebook Group ‘Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK’ last night where they proved to be extremely popular.

The raincoats come in three different styles with two basic coats – a pink one and a transparent one – selling at £6 and a special Winnie the Pooh raincoat selling for £7. It’s worth the extra quid to transform your dog into Winnie, if you ask me.

Though those with larger breeds like Labradors and German shepherds may need to look elsewhere as the coats are only available in one notably small size.

People in the Facebook group who have already purchased one of the coats have been sharing photos of their dogs modelling them during their walks in the rain and, I have to say, they look very dashing.

Though due to the immense popularity of the coats on the Facebook page, you’ll need to be quick if you want one for your own pooch.
