Iceland launches Creme Egg cheesecake in time for Easter

Easter is just around the corner, and supermarkets and brands are currently on a mission to one-up each other to create the ultimate egg-based treat.

And Iceland might just have won the entire holiday, with its Creme Egg-inspired cheesecake.

That’s right, the popular purveyor of frozen goods has launched a Luxury Belgian Chocolate Easter Egg Cheesecake – and they say it’s better than the real thing.

Combining two iconic sweets, a classic cheesecake and a Creme Egg, Iceland’s development kitchen has gone all out this year.

The vanilla cheesecake sits on a biscuit base, covered in white and yellow white chocolate with rich, dark chocolate strands scattered around the surface.

The frozen dessert needs no prep, you simply remove from the freezer and allow to defrost before scoffing the lot.

According to Iceland, Creme Egg fans need to keep their eyes peeled over at its freezers in the coming weeks for another god tier dessert.

The new dessert has launched both in store and online now and will set you back £3 for a 390g cake – but when it’s gone, it’s gone, so you best be quick.
