If you’ve ever been torn between gravy or mayonnaise for dipping your chips into, Hellmann’s has the solution; gravy flavoured mayo.
The revolutionary new condiment will come as part of a new trio of flavoured mayonnaises from the company, which includes Coronation, Chill Charger and Gravy, all of which are said to be inspired by ‘Britain’s best-loved restaurant sauces’, as per The Grocer.
For the gravy flavour, Hellmann’s says the product aims to ‘unite Brits on the chip divide’, with Northerners believed to prefer gravy with their chips while Southerners opt for mayonnaise.

The new flavour is said to be ‘the perfect dipping sauce for chicken and chips’, Hellmann’s revealed, and was also ‘inspired by a well-known chicken takeaway’.
The Coronation flavour offers ‘a tangy and jubilant’ option for sandwiches, while the Chilli Charger flavour is said have ‘a hot umami taste’ which makes it an ideal option for ‘pairing with all chicken dishes’.
Rachel Chambers, marketing manager at Hellmann’s, said: “We know just how much Brits love a takeaway and with the fakeaway style of cooking booming during lockdown, we wanted to provide the nation with restaurant-inspired flavours they could enjoy at home.

They’ll be sold in 250ml squeezy bottles made from 100% recycled and recyclable plastic for £2.25 each.
