Two more men have been charged with murder following the death of Sadiq Al-lami in South Manchester last week.
The 30-year-old died in hospital after what was described as an ‘altercation at a set of traffic lights’ on Kingsway in the early hours of January 23rd.
In a heartfelt statement, Mr Al-lami’s family described him as someone whose ‘warmth and love touched the hearts of everyone’.
The two men, who both live on Ashfield Drive in Newton Heath, will appear at Manchester Magistrates Court on Thursday, February 1st.
Abdul Wahab Babar, 18, of Ashdale Drive and Sikander Babar, 24, also of Ashdale Drive have been charged with the murder of Sadiq Al-lami.
They have been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court tomorrow (Thursday, February 1st).
A total of four people have now been charged with murder in relation to this investigation including Noraiz Kamal, 18, and Sultan Bakr, 22, who both remain in custody.
Greater Manchester Police’s Major Incident Team still wants to hear from anyone who believes they may have CCTV or dashcam footage, or who witnessed anything which could assist officers with their investigation.
