A celebration of life service for the late Tom Parker is taking place on April 20th, and fans have been invited down to pay tribute. The Wanted fans will be able to pay their respects outside the private ceremony next week, where they will have the chance to celebrate the Bolton-born singer’s life. After battling an inoperable brain tumour for 17 months, Tom sadly passed away last month aged 33. Now his wife Kelsey has revealed news about his send off, taking to Instagram to confirm a private service is happening next Wednesday, April 20th, in south-east London.

Although the service is private, anyone wishing to pay their respects has been invited to line the route as Tom’s family and friends head to the church – they’ll also be able to watch the service outside on screens. The statement reads: “There will be a private celebration of life on Wednesday 20th April.
“We know many of you would like to pay your respects as well, so would love for you to join us in Petts Woods from 10am. It would be beautiful to have everyone line the route as we head to our private service. “You are then welcome to join us outside the church for the duration where the service will be relayed on screens.”
Following his death, Kelsey set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for numerous charities in her late husband’s honour.
The Wanted singer left behind his wife and two children, Aurelia, two, and Bodhi, one, and just days on from his death Kelsey announced that she will be channeling the family’s grief into a fundraiser – for charities close to her husband’s heart. Writing on the GoFundMe page, Kelsey said: “As many of you know, Tom was diagnosed with a brain tumour in October 2020 and on Wednesday 30th March 2022 he passed away peacefully with all of his closest friends and family by his side.
“Our hearts are truly broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without him, but one of the biggest sources of comfort over the last 2 years has been the outpouring of love and support we’ve all received.”
