Tesco is creating 11,000 jobs over the festive period

Tesco is recruiting more than 11,000 temporary jobs to help out in stores over the busiest time of the year.
The jobs up for grabs include roles across the country in Superstores and Extra stores and include picking fo online deliveries, store replenishments and supporting existing store colleagues.
The Tesco website describes the new jobs as ‘local, convenient with a variety of flexible contracts available’.
It adds that they are looking for ‘colleagues who are passionate about delivering the best customer service and enjoy working as part of a team that really goes the extra mile to give our customers the best Christmas ever’.
Tesco People Director Rachel Bushby said: “Once the seasonal period comes to an end, Christmas colleagues will be encouraged to apply for any permanent roles available in their stores.”
Some of the jobs available in Manchester include customer assistant, delivery driver, personal shopper, festive colleague plus kickstart schemes available.
The stores with part-time positions available in Greater Manchester include; Altrincham, Bolton, Burnage, Bury, Droylsden, East Didsbury, Farnworth, Failsworth, Gorton, Hattersley, Levenshulme, Middleton, Oldham, Prestwich, Rochdale, Sale, Stalybridge, Stockport, Stretford, Walkden and Wilmslow.
