Popular American candle, bath and fragrance brand opens in Trafford Centre

The company has over 1,500 stores in the States and with the Trafford Centre being the second in the UK.

A popular candle, bath and fragrance store from the US has opened its doors in the Trafford Centre.

Bath & Body Works officially opened its Trafford store, in Partnership with Next, on Friday July 21st.

As the store opened in its location on Upper Regent Crescent next to River Island, its first 100 customers received an exclusive gift including eight best loved products and fragrances in a reusable bag. The gift bags were filled with fan favourites including Gingham, Kitchen Lemon, Mahogany Teakwood, Champagne toast and the newly released Pineapple Cove.

The new store will offer ‘shoppers an exciting new experimental environment’ that will allow customers to explore and try an array of exciting and delicious scents that will delight the senses as customers try all the different forms of lotions and potions each scent comes in.

Simon Layton, Centre Director at Trafford Centre, said: “Bath and Body Works is an iconic and hugely popular brand, and we’re delighted to welcome their store right here at Trafford Centre.

“We’ve already witnessed huge anticipation from our visitors, who are really excited for the new store to open.”

Founded in 1990, Bath & Body Works says it has been a disruptor in the fragrance industry for over 30 years.

With tonnes of heavenly scents and some so good you want to eat them, Bath & Body Works offers an exciting new addition to the Trafford Centre for customers to find the perfect gift for someone they care about, a place to treat yourself or just go and have a good sniff around.

Large three-wick candles cost just under £30 and just one is enough to transform the aroma of a large room. There’s always offers on creams, lotions candles and bath products such as ‘3 for 2’, so shoppers can make the most and stock up for Christmas.

If you’re still in the summer spirit, despite the rainy weather, some delicious fragrances to transcend your mind to a tropical island paradise include Waikiki Beach, Watermelon Mojito, and Bahamas.

If you want to smell rich and sophisticated we recommend Dark Velvet Oud, Mahogany Teakwood and Gingham. Long-standing classic favourites include, Japanese Cherry Blossom, Sweet Pea and Warm Vanilla Sugar.

Bath & Bodyworks is open seven days a week at the Trafford Centre now.
