Police release new image and footage of missing ‘vulnerable’ man last seen in Eccles

Police have released a new image and footage of a missing ‘vulnerable’ man who was last seen in Eccles in the early hours of Tuesday.

The image shows Andrew dressed in the clothing he’s believed to have been wearing on the night he went missing.

Officers have had a confirmed sighting of Andrew on Barton Lane in Eccles walking in the direction of Barton Road at 3.43am on Tuesday, March 12th.

Andrew is considered vulnerable and needs to take his medication regularly.

He is described as being a white male, 5 ft 10 ins tall and of slim build with short, dark brown hair.

Andrew was wearing a green hoodie, a thick, green coat with black joggers and blue Sketchers with a white sole at the time of his disappearance. 

It is believed he may have also been carrying a black backpack.

Officers are becoming ‘increasingly concerned’ for Andrew’s welfare and want to make sure he is safe and well and return him home to his family.

GMP say they are still searching for Andrew and any sightings or information on his possible whereabouts, however big or small, can be passed on to the force by calling 0161 856 5351, quoting log number 702 of March 11, 2024.
