Police ‘flabbergasted’ after 8ft boa constrictor found in woman’s bathroom

When heading to the bathroom in the early hours of the morning in the UK, the last thing you’d expect to see is a massive snake (insert joke here).

But that’s exactly what confronted one woman, who stumbled upon a huge boa constrictor in her bathroom.

Merseyside Police were called to the scene at 1am on December 30th 2019, leaving officers ‘flabbergasted’, ITV reports.

When police attended the first floor flat on the Wirral, they found the 6ft-8ft boa constrictor wrapped around the bathroom sink and taps.

Both the woman from the flat and her neighbour had no idea where the snake came from.

Police were unable to get any organisations to come out and collect the snake, so they called Constable Chris Eastwood, who used his knowledge of snakes to calmly approach it and coax it free from the bathroom fittings with a drink of water.

The snake has been temporarily housed at a local pet rescue facility and is doing well.
