A man has been arrested and charged after Prince Andrew was heckled yesterday.
The incident occurred as the royal procession travelled down the Royal Mile in Edinburgh.
In response to the incident, a 22-year-old man has been charged.
According to Police Scotland, he was arrested in connection with a breach of the peace.
King Charles was leading senior members of the Royal Family to St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh when it happened.
The royals were following behind a hearse carrying the Queen’s coffin.
A statement said: “He was released on an undertaking to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
No other arrests were made in regards to this specific incident.
