Luxury hotel near Manchester named best spa in the UK

A luxury hotel about an hour’s drive from Manchester has been named as the best spa in the UK.
The Rookery Hotel & Spa in Nantwich, Cheshire picked up the AA Best UK Spa Award
This elegant, upmarket haven is situated in the picturesque Cheshire countryside, set within the 38-acre grounds of a country house and features a glass roofed heated pool.
The Rookery also has a pretty huge claim to fame – it’s where David and Victoria Beckham got engaged back in 1998.
Housed within the original stable block of the estate, the Rookery Hall & Spa and its surrounding leisure facilities offer the perfect environment for wellbeing and relaxation – where guests can benefit from a true pamper experience.
After enjoying a day exploring the beautiful Cheshire countryside, taking a trip to the historic stone-built Bollington, amongst many other things, visitors to the hall can unwind and indulge in the lap of luxury at its spa.
Offering an unrivalled experience, guests can enjoy treatments including massages, facials and pedicures as well as taking advantage of the pool, hydro pool, sauna and steam room.

The hotel also holds the AA 4 Red Star Award: Inspector’s Choice, the AA Breakfast Award, and 2-Rosette Award for culinary excellence.
