Costa Coffee has announced it will be re-opening four branches and two of them are in Manchester.

The four stores will be open from today, Friday April 24th for takeaway and delivery.

The news follows the re-opening of the likes of Five Guys, KFC, and B&Q, where social distancing practices will be in place.

None of the open stores will be customer access stores and instead, two drive-thru stores (Mansfield & Manchester White City) and two delivery stores (Bristol Avonmeads and Manchester Oxford Road).

The stores will be open from 8am to 4pm serving up the usual delights.

There will be social distancing in place, including designated pick up points and they’re only accepting contactless payment.

The locations of the stores have been chosen due to their proximity to hospitals, police HQs and ambulance stations – also, the stores are large enough to allow for the social distancing measures of the staff.

Delivery is available via Uber Eats
