Caroline Flack-inspired t-shirt raises more than £100k for Samaritans in hours

After Caroline Flack was tragically found dead at her home in London over the weekend, tributes have been flooding in.

The Love Island presenter, 40, was found on Saturday, with a lawyer for Caroline’s family confirming she had taken her own life, adding that she’s been ‘under huge pressure.’

Now a t-shirt inspired by Caroline has managed to raise more than £100,000 for Samaritans in a matter of hours.

One of her last Instagram posts featured the quote: “In a world where you can be anything, be kind”, and the words have become a rallying call for her fans in the wake of her death.

To celebrate this message of kindness, In The Style launched a t-shirt featuring the quote yesterday, announcing that all profits would be donated to the Samaritans – a suicide prevention charity.

And in only a few hours the tee had raised more than £100,000, with new stock ordered to meet the massive demand.

In other news, Molly-Mae Hague was praised yesterday after she announced she’s making a huge donation to charity in Caroline’s memory.

The former Love Islander announced she’s donating all proceeds from her new PrettyLittleThing collection to mental health charity Mind.

Caroline stepped down from her role as Love Island host after she was alleged to have assaulted her boyfriend Lewis Burton – Caroline denied the charge and was set to face trial on March 4th.

As a mark of respect, both episodes of Love Island were cancelled over the weekend, with the show returning last night with a tribute to the TV presenter.

Caroline’s family said in a statement on Saturday: “We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February. We would ask that the press both respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time.”
