Beauty salon that put up posters saying coronavirus doesn’t exist to ‘stay open in lockdown’
It claimed the virus was a hoax.
A beauty salon in Merseyside has said it will remain open during the second lockdown, in a defiant message on social media.
The salon, Skin Kerr, previously claimed coronavirus is a hoax and was ordered to close by the council.
It was found with not only inadequate coronavirus safety measures but also posters denying the existence of the virus. The signs read: “Covid free salon, no masks, we take cash, Covid talk is banned, you can’t catch what doesn’t exist”.
The salon had received warnings regarding the lack of safety measures and the signs from Sefton Council.
Skin Kerr posted the new message on Sunday morning, saying they wouldn’t be following the lockdown rules.
The message on their Instagram says: “We will not be locking down again! We will remain open! We will fight this and any fines in a common law court!”

This comes after Boris Johnson announced England is to enter a second lockdown from this Thursday, November 5th.
During the new national lockdown, places like pubs, restaurants, salons, gyms and hairdressers will be forced to close.
