As travellers are warned to check the status of their flights before they head to the airport, here are all the cancelled and delayed flights due to depart from Manchester today.
After a technical failure hit UK air space on Bank Holiday Monday, hundreds of flights across the country were cancelled and many more were delayed.
Due to controllers having to input flight plans manually, the National Air Traffic Service (NATS) issued a statement to say it had applied traffic flow restrictions to maintain safety.
NATS say the issue has since been ‘remedied’ but those with plans to fly have been warned the disruption could continue into the rest of the week. CEO Martin Rolfe issued an apology and says the incident is now being investigated.
