Aldi has joined the delivery game and will be offering takeaway-style pizzas straight to your door for a slice of the price of a rival delivery.

Aldi’s new trial pizza delivery service coincides with the launch of the brand’s new ‘Ultimate Takeaway’ range, and customers can get a cooked ‘Domino’s-inspired’ pizza delivered straight to their door for as little as £3.99.

The Domino’s-inspired Ultimate Takeaway range comes just in-time for hungry freshers and returning students looking to bag themselves a delicious bargain.

With a medium Meateor pizza from Domino’s currently setting shoppers back £20.99, plus a £2.50 delivery fee, the service can save pizza-lovers more than £19 per pizza delivered – that’s a whopping 83%.

The budget supermarket will be serving up tasty toppings including The Meaty One (inspired by the Meateor), The Banger (inspired by the Absolute Banger) and the Texas Style BBQ Chicken & Bacon (inspired by the Texas BBQ).

Customers can select up to two of these new flavours to be delivered to the comfort of their own homes, with no added delivery charge.

The service will be available for one day only – on October 3rd – for a trial that runs in the student hubs of Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff. Food-lovers that are within the selected postcode areas in each region will be able to test the new service out.

If you reside in the M13 and M15 postcodes in Manchester then you’re in luck, as on Tuesday October 3rd, you can use the Aldi Pizza Delivery service and get your tea brought straight to your door.

The service is now online for you to pre-book your slot from between 5pm-9pm. To pre-book your pizza delivery, click HERE.
