Well deserved!
It’s official, Afflecks has been named one of the top tourist attractions in the entire world.
Manchester’s beloved shopping emporium was named on the influential TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards which are published every year, with Afflecks featuring on the prestigious 2020 list.
TripAdvisor search through reviews, ratings and comments from travellers across the globe, using that information to award the very best attractions.

Afflecks has now been awarded the Travellers Choice Award, which means it is in the top 10% of rated visitor destinations on the entire planet – of course, we already know how mint it is.
The shopping destination has long been celebrated as a bastion of Manchester’s famous independent and creative spirit, as well as a safe space in the city.
Established in 1982, Afflecks has become famous the world over for its eclectic and eccentric shops and services, and the hugely diverse and creative enterprises that it supports.

It is one of the city’s longest standing retail experiences, saved from closure in 2010 by Bruntwood Works who still own and operate the building, supporting over 60 independent traders within the building – from tattoo artists to fashion boutiques.
It is a hive of creativity and a safe space for independent entrepreneurs, artists and makers to start out, experiment and grow.
