A brand new theme park is opening in the North West this year, and if you want to escape technology and city living then it’s perfect. The new £5m woodland attraction will feature mazes, treetop walks and zip lines, and there’s no technology, loud rides or junk food to be found. BeWILDerwood is set to open in South Cheshire in a few months time, spreading out over 70 acres of woodland, with magical attractions like the Slippery Slopes, Broken Bridge and Curious Treehouses.
BeWILDerwood
There’ll be loads of stuff for thrillseekers to explore, like climbing walls, zip lines and mazes, as well as storytelling, face painting, craft workshops and den building, and an eight metre high treetop ride called the Sky Maze. You’ll go back to basics with zero technology, and instead of junk food there’ll be local, fresh farm produce on offer.
While there’ll be some snacks and crisps on offer, like flapjacks and brownies, the majority of the food will be things like soup, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and salads.
BeWILDerwood
There’s already a BeWILDerwood down in Norfolk, which opened back in 2007, and the Cheshire site is set to open on May 23rd – so not long to wait. Tickets will set you back £16.50 for kids between 82cm and 105cm, and £18.50 for people over 105cm, while anyone under 92cm go free, and those over 65 will have to pay just £10.50. You can grab tickets now, so to get yourself booked in and for more info head over to the site here.
