Rapper Aitch has offered Liam Gallagher a handsome sum of money to feature on his upcoming new album.

Clearly not one to mess around when it comes to big career opportunities, local lad Aitch – from New Moston – took to Twitter yesterday to proposition the former Oasis frontman, tagging him and writing simply: “I will pay £7 Million for you to be on my album @liamgallagher.”

Gallagher is yet to respond to the tempting offer, though he is known for his Twitter antics so we shouldn’t be waiting too long for one of his famed snarky replies.

Yet regardless of Liam’s lack of response, fans have been loving the bizarre proposal, with one jokingly asking the rapper for ‘a tenner’ and another saying she’ll change her name and take up the offer herself.

And, when someone offered Aitch £6 to ‘quit music’, the good-humoured rapper replied with: “I’ll send you my bank details now.”

Aitch, real name Harrison Armstrong, is putting together a new record after his last album Polaris was released back in 2020.

He has previously collaborated with the likes of Bugzy Malone and AJ Tracey, though one of the Gallagher brothers would definitely be his biggest partnership yet.

However, LG already has a lot on his plate; back in October, he announced that he would be returning to Knebworth Park, the site of the historic Oasis gigs of 1996.

In the wake of the release of his new album, ‘C’MON YOU KNOW’, the Mancunian rocker took to Twitter to reveal that he will be taking to the iconic Knebworth stage over two decades on from the famous Oasis gigs.

He wrote: “I’m absolutely buzzing to announce that on 4th June 2022 I’ll be playing Knebworth. It’s gonna be biblical. C’mon You Know. LG x”.
