A hidden Northern Quarter gem has launched a unique bottomless brunch menu complete with bagels, croissants and ‘silly’ cocktails.
If you take a walk down Oldham Street and fight your way through the foliage and shrubs at The Bud and Pot, you’ll find yourself in Lost Cat, a somewhat secluded cocktail bar smack in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Northern Quarter.
Lost Cat only opened its doors in May this year, but has made a huge impact on the area with its unique approach to ‘serious beers and silly cocktails’.

And now, to further cement their NQ legacy, they have unveiled the very thing every bar in the area aspires towards; a bottomless brunch menu.
Okay, it has to be said that every NQ bar owner and their dog is coming up with their own version of the boozy breakfast-lunch hybrid these days, but the Lost Cat has jumped on a brand new trend; alternative pastries and booze.
Instead of your typical full English get-up, Lost Cat boasts a unique menu consisting of breakfast pastries with a twist, such as the Bacon Lux; smoked streaky bacon, scrambled egg, melted cheese and sriracha mayo all atop a freshly baked mini croissant.

There is also the Salmon Lux, which comes with smoked salmon, lemon creme fraiche, scrambled egg, dill and crispy capers.
On the menu, guests will also find the Fried Chicken French Toast, a seasoned fried chicken tender with streaky bacon bits, whipped butter and hot honey, all served upon a slice of thick white toast. Lovely.
And, for the part that most you came here for in the first place, the Lost Cat drinks menu doesn’t disappoint, with bottomless option offering Mimosas, a pint of House Lager, a ‘Yuppue Stockbroker’ made up of vanilla vodka, passionfruit sorbet, lemon and fizz, and the ‘Italian Thug’ cocktail, featuring gin, watermelon syrup, Campari, vermouth and soda.

There’s also the classic Bloody Mary, a ‘Tito Flores’ fizz and gin based drink with cucumber, elderflower and citrus flavours, and, finally, a Garibaldi – Campari and OJ.
Sounds alright, doesn’t it?
And, better yet, Lost Cat’s bottomless brunch is available every day of the week and costs just £25pp. Absolute bargain.
They’re accepting walk-ins only, so make sure to get yourself down when you’re next in the area. Follow Lost Cat on Instagram for news and updates.
