The Lowry Hotel

Mother’s Day is fast approaching and the preparation to spoil our mums begins – they absolutely deserve it, after all.

And what better way than with bottomless cake?

That’s exactly what The Lowry Hotel is doing, as it brings back its sell-out Mother’s Day experience.

The Lowry Hotel

The all you can eat afternoon tea includes peanut butter brownies and raspberry and white chocolate tarts, as well as a host of other treats.

The five-star hotel will be hosting the luxurious afternoon tea buffet in its Grand Ballroom, where a magician will be on hand to entertain the whole family.

Its menu includes unlimited sandwiches, scones and cakes, as well as a choice of tea, coffee or juice.

You can choose from salmon cones with caviar and dill, smoked bacon, shallot & Lancashire bomb tartlet, Coronation chicken with golden raisin and baby gem, cream cheese, cucumber and mint, or roast red pepper, basil and homemade hummus.

Next up are the indulgent bottomless sweet treats, where you can really spoil your mum with coconut frangipanes, white chocolate and raspberry tarts, and a rum and dark chocolate pave.

There’s also a fudge brownie with peanut butter frosting or milk chocolate, a cherry and pistachio financier, as well as an endless supply of freshly baked fruit and plain scones served with clotted cream and preserves.

The menu costs £30 for adults and £15 for children, and is available on Mother’s Day, aka Sunday March 22nd, between 12pm and 4pm.
