New kid on the block BrewChimp is making waves among the local pub scene across Manchester with its eclectic beer menus and live music nights.

Now, there’s nothing quite as good as the atmosphere and overall vibes of a good independent local boozer – but, thanks mainly to the Covid-19 pandemic, hundreds of Manchester’s best locals have been forced to close their doors.

So the news of any new local face popping up in the somewhat cluttered pub scene is always worth talking about – and this is where BrewChimp come in.

Their first pub was opened in Urmston, where their vast craft beer offering and live music line up quickly established them as firm favourites among locals.

They also operate a day time offering in a converted butcher’s shop in Flixton with their trademark craft beer and live music offering, but also with breakfast, brunch and lunch time dishes.

Following the success of this venture, they then opened up a third pub in Boothstown before opening their most recent BrewChimp establishment in Stretford which comes attached to a very impressive new Indian ‘tapas’ restaurant upstairs – BrewChimp Indian Social Club.

The friends behind the idea, Vijay and Raj, sought inspiration from their South Indian street food and, as a result, dish up a tantalising array of small dishes that put an authentic twist on classic curries.

Downstairs, the Stretford BrewChimp Bar has regularly rotating cask and ale pumps, some quality lagers (including the cracking Weihenstephaner), wines and everything else in between.

With such a diverse beer and ale offering, different food concepts and a little quirky vibe to the venues, the BrewChimp venues have managed to become a major force in Manchester’s southern suburbs, and we can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
