Fat Hippo are opening their first-ever burger joint in Manchester in collaboration with bowling alley and bar Lane7.
The independent burger joint is already popular in the likes of Sheffield and Nottingham serving up massive burgers and loaded fries.
Announcing the news on Facebook, Fat Hippo wrote: “After some top secret planning, we’re thrilled to announce your favourite independent burger joint is once again teaming up with one of the sickest brands out there, Lane7 Manchester, and setting up inside their new site in Manchester’s Great Northern!
“Geared up with our massive menu of signature beef and boneless buttermilk chicken patties, that come with free fries as standard, we’ve also got a carefully designed range of vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options available.
“You’re exactly where you need to be to hear first announcements, sneaky peeks and all the fun involved in this next chapter of our burger journey. Follow us on Insta for the best burger posts everyday.”
It’s not clear yet exactly when the new burger joint will be open, but fans are already excited.
One person commented: “Think we need to go”, with another adding, “this looks sick”.
Lane7 took to Instagram to share the news, writing “Manchester. Get hungry. Lane7 x @fathippofood – coming sooner than you think”.
