The perfect egg…

M&S

For those of us who prefer a more savoury dessert, M&S is releasing just the thing.

This Easter you’ll be able to get cheese eggs rather than the traditional chocolate ones, and I for one can’t wait.

M&S is launching two brand new products, including a box of six eggs and one massive egg.

M&S

They’ll be made with Barber’s Farmhouse Cheddar, with a vintage 18-month matured Red Leicester ‘yolk’ and a wax ‘shell’, and they’ll be about the size of a large hen’s egg.

These little eggs will come in a cardboard egg box with six inside, and will set you back £8.50 a pop.

You can also grab a 300g Big Cheesy Egg, which will set you back £8 and will be roughly the same size as a goose egg.

M&S

M&S created these cheesy treats after it carried out a survey which found that 41% of adults preferred cheese to chocolate.

You’ll be able to grab the cheese eggs from Wednesday March 18th – the boxes of six will be available in almost all of M&S’s 600 stores, while the Big Cheesy Eggs are only out in 250 stores.
