Manchester restaurant is serving hanging pancake ‘kebabs’ this Pancake Day

This Pancake Day, you’ll be able to truly spoil yourself with a revolutionary hanging pancake ‘kebab’, complete with hot chocolate sauce, marshmallows and strawberries.

The Botanist, which has a number of restaurants across Manchester including Deansgate, Media City, Alderley Edge and Didsbury, has become well known and loved for it’s hanging kebabs, but will be pulling out all the stops tomorrow with the return of its famous pancake kebab.

The unique dessert will feature six miniature American pancakes skewered on a stick with a choice of three different toppings.

Each kebab will come served with a pot of sauce made specially to pour down from the top, with topping choices including the likes of chocolate brownie chunks and hot chocolate sauce, or marshmallow and strawberries with a lemon drizzle. 

Now that’s what Pancake Day is all about.

The Botanist has been dishing out the tasty kebabs every Pancake Day for the last couple of years now, and shared the news of their return on Instagram this week, writing: “Pancake Hanging Kebabs RETURN!

“To celebrate Shrove Tuesday our Hanging Pancake Kebab specials will be making a return between Feb 28th – March 2nd and we’re flippin’ excited!

“Chocolate brownie chunks and a hot chocolate sauce… Marshmallows and strawberries with a lemon drizzle.

“Be quick, once they’re gone, they’re gone!”

The hanging kebabs will be available across all Botanist restaurants from today until March 2nd. You can find your closest restaurant here.
