Incase you haven’t heard, it’s International Dog Day today and is thus the perfect opportunity to celebrate everything about our beloved dogs.

And joining in with the festivities is the Manchester bakery, Biscuit & Brew, who have baked a whole batch of dog friendly ‘pupcakes’ for your four-legged friend to enjoy.

The pupcakes are made from dog-friendly ingredients including peanut butter and banana before being topped with a tantalising gravy flavoured dog biscuit.

Biscuit and Brew is a relatively new face among the Manchester foodie scene, having only opened its doors earlier this year.

But they’ve proved to be a huge hit from their home in Oxford Road’s Hatch, with both their human customers and their animal ones.

Co-owner Anna, who opened the business with her husband Jack, told TeamDogs of their decision to cater for animals: “We noticed a large number of customers would bring their dogs to Hatch but they were missing out when their owners were eating out sweet treats.

“So we thought it was only right to create something for them too.”

For their human customers, Biscuit and Brew offer some fantastic brownie and cookie adaptations, such as Biscoff Rocky Road, Jammy Dodger Blondies, and their signature ‘Brookies,’ a mix between a brownie and a cookie. They also offer coffees, ice creams and milkshakes.

Their venue in Hatch is dog friendly, so you can find a seat and get comfortable with your beloved pet. And, luckily for you lot, their pupcakes are a permanent fixture on the menu, so no hard feelings if you can’t make it down today.
