Manchester’s beloved tapas haunt La Bandera has the ideal cure for those Christmas blues; half price tapas throughout the entire course of January.

Now, while we’re firmly in that strange ‘in-between’ period where no one has any clue what day it is, most people are definitely starting to feel a little glum about the impending New Year.

2021 was a weird one to say the least and, with new Covid restrictions and lockdowns lurking upon the horizon, it’s hard to feel excited or hopeful for 2022.

But fear not, because La Bandera has swooped in to the rescue with a load of discounted tapas at your disposal.

Located down Deansgate, the Spanish restaurant has always been a firm favourite among Mancunians, mainly for its extensive range of Spanish delicacies, its boozy bottomless tapas brunch and its loaded tapas lunch boards.

And, to make January feel that little bit warmer, they will be offering a massive 50% off all their tapas dishes from Sundays through to Thursdays for the whole month.

Not a bad deal, if you ask me.

And if you’re still not convinced, items you’ll be able to get half price include the Gambas Volcán – king prawns with Canarian spices, white wine and fresh chilli – for just £4.50, the Pulguitas de Cordero – sliders of pulled lamb cooked in chilli and rosemary with a honey and mustard mayo – for just £4.25 and the Bistec Asadores – grilled Flat Iron steak in mojo rojo sauce and topped with fried onions – for just £4.75.

Though it does need to be mentioned that appetisers, boards and paellas aren’t included in the discount.

If you fancy some of this in January, all you’ll need to do is book online using the code MFJAN50.
