Krispy Kreme is giving away free doughnuts to anyone who’s had a birthday throughout lockdown. 

For anyone who’s had a birthday in lockdown, it was probably unlike any you’ve had before, so Krispy Kreme thinks you deserve a treat.

The popular doughnut company is giving away a free Original Glazed doughnut to you lucky lot who have recently celebrated a birthday.

Around 22 million people celebrated their birthday between March 23rd and July 3rd and they’ll all be eligible for the freebie.

The company announced the amazing news on Instagram with the caption: “Did you spend your birthday in lockdown?

“If so, we have some tasty news – to celebrate the 83rd birthday of Krispy Kreme this week, we want to bring you smiles if you missed out on your celebrations!”

The post adds: If your birthday was between 23rd Mar–3rd July, you can enjoy a complimentary Original Glazed doughnut on us with any purchase!

“Simply go into (selected) Krispy Kreme stores with your ID and claim your birthday treat with a purchase, but hurry, offer ends Sun 19th July!

“Don’t forget to tag your friends/family – they can enjoy a tasty belated celebration too!

“Find your nearest store here.”

You have to spend £1.55 in-store to redeem the free doughnut and you can only redeem one freebie per customer.
