KFC confirms the legendary Double Down Burger is returning to menus next week

The popular Double Down Burger is returning to KFC but it will only be available for a limited amount of time so you’ll have to be quick.

The burger is completely breadless, using two pieces of chicken instead of a bun. Inside you’ll find bacon Monterey Jack cheese and BBQ sauce as the filling.

You can get the burger as a single sandwich for just £4.99 or opt for a meal with fries and a drink for £5.99.

Also returning is the Double Down Burger Box meal which features fries, drink plus an extra piece of Original Recipe chicken and will set you back £7.49.

KFC took to Twitter yesterday to write: “One like and we’ll bring back the Double Down.”

The Tweet has racked up 1.6k likes in under 24 hours. KFC added: “This tweet literally broke Twitter wow.”

Before explaining: “(In a “servers stopped working” kind of way, not a “Kim K breaking the internet” way)”.

It will be back in KFC stores from Monday October 5th but will only be available until November 15th where it will disappear off menus again.
