To celebrate the arrival of summer, Manchester is set to welcome an all-new food festival boasting the finest cuisine Latin America has to offer.
Taking over GRUB’s summer terrace next month for three days, the Latin American Food Fair will showcase tasty dishes from far-flung locations such as Cuba, Brazil and Mexico courtesy of some of Manchester’s most celebrated independent traders.
First on the line up is Bread and Butter BBQ, a Green Quarter-based dark kitchen specialising in Brazilian churrasco.
At the festival, they will be offering a menu of Brazilian-style burgers, breakfast items and barbecued steak and chips, which comes with a flavourful rump cap ‘Picanha’ cut of beef served on top of chunky chips and a vinaigrette and rocket salad.

Also on the line up is Pollard Yard’s newest resident Crunched Tacos, which has become famed for its innovative approach to taco toppings and flavours.
Their unique flavour combinations include pulled pork with a ‘Dark Fruits’ sauce and a sprinkling of bacon-flavoured Frazzles, as well as Cornflake-fried chicken with buttermilk crema and a garnish of Rice Krispies and Cuban Surf food.
Cubanitos will also be on hand across the event to serve up a wonderful selection of Cuban-inspired dishes, including loaded fries, hotdogs, burgers and sandwiches.
Mexican street food vendor El Contador concludes the line up with its soft shell taco selection, alongside Marzipan for those looking for a sweet treat.

On the drinks side of things, Salford’s very own Witch Kings Rum will be on hand to serve up some seriously tasty rum-based, Latin American-inspired cocktails.
The Latin American Food Fair will be taking over GRUB’S summer terrace on Friday July 29th (12pm-10pm), Saturday July 30th (12pm-6pm) and Sunday July 31st (12pm-6pm).
The festival will be free to enter, though booking a table in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment.
