They’re not nicknamed ‘Manchester’s best burgers’ for nothing…

To mark National Burger Day appropriately, Burgerism will be giving away 200 of its famous burgers in Manchester city centre tomorrow.

Burgerism is the ultimate lockdown success story: born as a dark kitchen in Salford, the takeaway service boomed in popularity throughout 2020 when people were stuck at home and growing increasingly bored of their own home-cooked meals.

They became well known and loved for their (you guessed it) burgers, which have even been proclaimed as ‘the best burgers in Manchester’ by Mana’s Michelin-starred Head Chef, Simon Martin.

Their menu is wonderfully simple and consists of just a handful of options, with the most popular being the ‘cheesed’ burger: two smashed beef patties, American-style cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and Burgerism’s house burger sauce.

The ‘Free Bird’ is also a huge hit, with it being made up of deep fried chicken breast, house-made spicy oil, comeback sauce, fresh slaw and pickles.

So, Mancunians will be pleased to hear that to mark National Burger Day tomorrow (Thursday August 25th), Burgerism will be giving out 200 of its burgers for FREE.

From 12pm tomorrow outside Gone Fishing Vintage on Oldham Street, the first 200 people to turn up will get a free ‘Cheesed’ burger with a complimentary side of fries.

There will also be a DJ in attendance at Gone Fishing too, just to make a day out of it.

The burgers will be given out on a first come, first serve basis – so when they’re gone, they’re gone.

See you there!
