BrewDog on Oxford Road has launched a hot desk scheme so you can work from the bar and beer is included!

Most people are still working from home and after just shy of seven months of being stuck in your home office – whatever that might be for you – it can not only get a bit lonely, but a bit boring.

That’s why a number of bars and restaurants in Manchester have launched hot desk schemes which means you can shift your desk to the bar for a day.

The ‘Desk Dog’ day includes unlimited coffee, Wi-Fi, a seat and desk all day plus a nice frosty pint at the end of the day.

You can pre-book your slot or turn up on the day and hope there’s some space. It will set you back just £7 a day.

Alternatively, if you fancy reserving a desk for a month you can opt for the monthly season pass for £70.

Although Desk Dog was launched last year, the bar is now reopen and is offering the scheme again, and there are plenty of Covid-secure measures in place too.

Expect all the usual norms like track and trace, mask-wearing when not seated and enhanced cleaning schedules.

The Desk Dog ticket is available only on Monday to Fridays from opening until 4pm.

When you’re ready to shut your laptop, turn off Slack and avoid anymore Zooms for the rest of the day you can claim your pint of Punk IPA.

All BrewDog bars excluding Swansea and Bradford offer Desk Dog. There are two BrewDog bars in Manchester, one on Peter Street and one on Oxford Road.
