Manchester-based burger legends Archie’s has announced that it will be opening one of its restaurants to feed the homeless at Christmas.
Archie’s will be opening its 72 Oxford Road site on Christmas Day to help feed homeless people in the city.
It’s been a big year for the burger brand, as they opened their flagship Trafford Centre store recently, so they wanted to give back to the community.
The restaurant will open its doors from 1-4pm on December 25th to allow those without a home the opportunity to get a hot meal.
People will be able to grab either a Superstar Burger or Falafel Burger, as well as fries and a drink.
Imran Rafiq, one of Archie’s directors, said: “After the hard year we’ve had, we wanted to give back by opening our doors on Christmas Day for people who may not be able to have a meal.
“In the past, we’ve worked with homeless charities before through the Archie’s foundation”
Archie’s is currently working hard to spread the word to the city’s homeless population, letting them know they can get something warm to eat this Christmas.
Well done Archie’s, what a brilliant gesture!
