The legendary Hip Hop Chip Shop is set to open a new pop-up site in south Manchester.
After making a huge impression on the city over the past few years, Hip Hop Chip Shop bagged themselves a spot next to the Michelin-starred Mana in Ancoats.
From their first bricks and mortar store, they served up all their popular delights including Halloumi, Myself and I which sees battered halloumi fingers with chunky skin-on chips and mushy peas, as well as their ‘Meat Junkie’ chilli battered sausage wrapped in bacon and served with chunky skin-on chips and curry sauce.
Partnering with the iconic Carlton Club in Whalley Range, the ovens and grills of their boombox trailer designed by local artist Stan Chow will be fired up from February 5th.
They will also be donating a percentage of their takings to the Carlton Club as well as a hot meal to a local person in need for every order over £25.
Expect all the usual delicious delights on the menu including their famous Battered Gherkins for four quid that make an excellent side.
