The government’s roadmap out of lockdown features four stages of reopening the country, and we’re currently in the midst of stage one. Stage two will be a big one when it comes around, as it’ll see the return of pubs, bars and restaurants for outdoor service – as it stands, this will be on April 12th. If you fancy a rooftop cocktail from April 12th over in Altrincham, then the Con Club has got you covered, as the venue has confirmed it will be reopening on this date.
The Con Club
The former Conservative Working Men’s Club in Altrincham was transformed into the Con Club a good few years ago, with the modern venue serving up an impeccable Sunday roast alongside plenty of booze. After spending the past year in and out of lockdown, during which it served up takeaway roasts each weekend, it’s time for the doors to swing open once more and for you lot to head down and grab a drink. In even better news, the Con Club has a huge terrace outside that is ideal as the summer months start to roll on in.
There’s even a smaller terrace up on the roof as well, which is widely regarded as a hidden gem in the suburb – in fact, it might be the ONLY rooftop terrace in Altrincham.
The Con Club
And if the weather does happen to be terrible, there’s even a tipi on the roof terrace to keep you protected from the elements.
The Con Club will be open for al fresco drinks and food from April 12th, with tables available on a first-come-first-serve basis (no bookings are available). You keep up to date on their Instagram here.
